Why the Poitou-Charentes? The sunny climate and the pretty hamlets with typical houses in stone with old beams and large gardens are very attractive. Throughout the year the local inhabitants are very active and friendly which allows cultural exchange if you wish to join in. This is an authentic, preserved and charming place. You will be one hour from the sea and 20 mns from the Futuroscope, 5 mns from the 'Valley of the Monkeys' with many other attractions from the urban charms of the old cities to fields with glorious sunflowers.

Where are we?
Couhé is 30 km. south of Poitiers on the RN10.
The Airport of Poitiers gives direct access to & from STANSTEAD, and you can take the train direct from Waterloo or Ashford to Poitiers (change at Lille)
